Software developer with over 6 years experience developing web applications using a variety of technologies. I take great pleasure in watching customers/clients use my software in very unexpected ways, and finding creative solutions to handle it (Even if it's frustrating sometimes!). Currently looking to make the jump to game development, but roles in 3D development interest me too.


June 2019-Present

Developing industry leading Retail Analytics software using C# and SQL. Carried out migration of production application to .NET Core from .NET Framework. Made a large number of general improvements to help streamline both the development and user experience. Also assisted with frontend development using Razor + Html/CSS/Javascript, including a single page internal tool using Fabric.js.


Skills

  • C# development with experience in console apps, forms, ASP.NET and Unity
  • Management and deployment of application resources in Azure, including app services, virtual machines and databases
  • CI/CD using Azure DevOps
  • Experience writing SQL queries and managing multiple production SQL databases
  • Game/tool development in unity (intermediate skill level, including a number of small hobby projects and one major community project)
  • Basic knowledge of web development using HTML/CSS, and more significant experience with JavaScript programming site behaviour
